Victory for Kollam and Ernakulam Men Quarter Finalist Spotted in Women
In two Exciting matches of the day in Group A and Group B men division defending Champions Ernakulum after trailing 30-36 at the half time came on to beat Alapuzha 64-53 while in a group B match Kollam who lost to Thiruvananthapuram on yesterday today in an exciting encounter defeated Kozhikode 61-56 here for the 60th Senior State Basketball Championship for Men and Women at the twin Basketball courts of the GVHSS Flood Lit Stadium here at Kanhagad.
In women section quarter finalist were Spotted ?last year champions Thiruvananthapuram along with Alappuzha from group A Palakkad and Kannur from B, Thrissur and Kottayam from C , Ernakulum and Kozhikode from D confirmed the quarter final line up

On the second day in women section defending champion Thiruvananthapuram anchored by internationals Jeena P S and Anjana P G had no difficulty in beating Wayanad 46-12 while Kottayam beat Malappuram 53-13

In Men division in the morning Thrissur beat Wayanad 37-23 , Idukki beat Kannur 78-50 and on late yesterday matches Ernakulum beat Pathanamthitta 59-41 and Thiruvananthapuram beat Kollam 60-52
