General Refund Policy
Kerala Basketball Association is committed to providing fair and transparent refund policies for all our services including event registrations, tournament fees, and other payments.
Payment Gateway Failures
For failed transactions through PayU payment gateway:
- Automatic refund: 5-7 business days for failed transactions
- Double payment: Immediate refund of duplicate amount
- Technical errors: Full refund within 3-5 business days
Refund Process
How to Request a Refund:
- Submit refund request through our contact form or in person
- Include transaction ID, payment details, and reason
- Provide supporting documents if applicable
- Allow 3-5 business days for review
Refund Timeline:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days
- Net Banking: 5-7 business days
- UPI/Wallets: 3-5 business days
- Failed transactions: 5-7 business days (automatic)
Non-Refundable Items
- Processing fees and transaction charges
- Late registration penalties
- Merchandise and physical products (unless defective)
- Services already rendered
- Administrative fees
Force Majeure
In case of events beyond our control (natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemic, etc.):
- Event postponement: Credit note valid for 12 months OR 80% refund
- Event cancellation: 90% refund (10% administrative cost)
- Venue changes: Full refund if participant cannot attend
Dispute Resolution
If you're not satisfied with our refund decision:
- Contact our support team within 30 days
- Provide additional documentation if required
- Allow 7-10 business days for review
- Final decisions will be communicated in writing
