3 Indian boys and 4 girls selected for the Next Generation Showcase program
Ann Mary Zacariah the Student from Mount Carmel HSS Kottayam will be Joined by , Sunishka Kartik(Karnataka) the replacement of Garrishma Nirnajan from Karnataka , Harsiman Kaur (Punjab) and Siya Deodhar (Mahrastra ) who selected from (NBA Academy India Women’s Program will join other 30 women players from 16 countries participating in the NCAA’s Next Generation program at the Women’s Final Four in Tampa. While Princepal Singh & Vivek Chauhan (Punjab) along with Aashay Varma from Hyderabad will Join other 47 men players from 16 countries who will be representing the NBA Academies in Africa, Australia, China and Latin America at the Next Generation program at the Men’s Final Four in Minneapolis. The event will take place from April 4-6, culminating with Next Generation Saturday at the Women’s Final Four Tourney Town. Event)
The camp Hosted by the NCAA in partnership with USA Basketball and the NBA Academies program, and with support from the National Association of Basketball Coaches and the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association, the collaboration provides young athletes with educational and life-skills sessions, allows them to compete against their peers from around the world, and lets them experience aspects of the Final Four from a player’s perspective, including attending Final Four national semi-final games.
