Kozhikode,Kottayam Teams Confirmed the quarter final berth
17th MAY 2017- 34th Kozhikode & Kottayam Boys and Girls confirmed their berth in to the quarter finals here for the 34th edition of the Kerala State Basketball Championship For Youth Boys and Girls 2017 at the St Ephrems Basketball Flood Lit Indoor Stadium at Mannanam and at KE School Mannanam.
In Girls division Alapuzha and Kannur from pool A, Kozhikode andIdukki from Pool B, Thrissur and Ernakulum from C and Kottayam and Trivandrum from D confirmed their berth in to the Quarter final
In Boys only Kozhikode have completed the league engagement topped the pool C, Idukki and Kottayam with two straight victories have confirmed their quarter final berth with one more day to go for the league round.
In other league matches Idukki drubbed Pathanamthitta 41-5 and again beat Thrissur 56-32 then Thrissur bt Ernakulum 45-30, Alapuzha bt Malapuram 47-14, Kozhikode bt Kollam 42-6 Palakkad scrape past Kasargod 35-34, kottayam beat Ernakulum beat Pathanamthitta 55-37, Kttayamdrubbed malapuram48-14
In girls division Idukki-37(Ardra Xavier20) bt Malapuram37-8, Kannur bt Kollam 43-11,Trivandrum bt Palakkad 37-8 and Kozhikode defeated Malapuram44-18 and Thrissur had an easy victory over Pathanamthitta with 25-6 score and Kottayam beat Kasargod 32-7
