Kerala Police and Customs retained Title
Kochi –Kerala police in women and Customs and central excise men retained the title of the Padma Shri C K Menon, Champions Trophy Inter Club Basketball Championship for Men and Women at the Regional Sports Centre, Kochi. In women division final Kerala Police won the final league defeating Assumption college 85-56 after leading 39-33 at the halftime with International Neenumol PS top scoring with26 points SES College Took the Second spot with 2 wins and a loss and Assumption took the 3rd spot. In Men final Customs after a safe lead of defeated Sree Kerala Varma college. With top scoring for Winners with and for Kerala Varma made while Sree Kerala Varma took the second Spot. In women, SES College Sreekntapuram had stunned St Josephs College Irinjalakuda with an 81-75 and on yesterday in an extra time thriller, they beat Assumption college Changancherry with the score of 58-57. In Men division, Sree Kerala Varma College Thrissur beat Cherupushpa Chandanakampara 74-49 and KSEB finished the 3rd Spot with their victory over Cherrupushpa with the score of 77-58
