C V Sunny Academy Inaugurated
Mar Ivanios College Thiruvananthapuram and Assumption College Changancherry bagged the Bishop Moor Trophy Basketball Tournament here at The Newly Refurbished Basketball Court of Bishop Moore College Mavelikara

In Women Assumption College Defeated St Josephs College Alappuzha 42-36 with Leading the Scoring for Assumption with 13 points and for Alappuzha Anusha IP the top scorer with12 points

In Men, Mar Ivanios beat St Berchmens College Changancherry 52-38with Akhil AR and AR Krishnan contributing 10 points each for the victory and for SB college Akhil Baiju came as the top scorer making 10

Surya P R to lead Kerala

Surya P R of Kerala Police will lead the Kerala team for 31st Federation Cup Basketball championship to be held at PSG tech Indoor Sports Complex, Coimbatore from 22nd to 26th March 2017. The team will be coached by Antony Stephan from Kerala State Sports Council assisted by Jeevan Raj Sebastian from SH CMI Thevara and managed by Adv K A Salim Secretary Ernakulum District Basketball Association

The women team is placed in Group B along with Delhi Tamil Nadu and West Bengal Kerala will this time miss the service of Internationals Jeena PS, Anjana PG, Stephy Nixon, Poojamol K, S and Indian Campers Athira who Captained Kerala for the historic win this year and grime N Merlin Varghese Jeena P S, Grima, Pooajamol indisposed due to Chickenpox Stephy for Domestic reason and Athira who sustained and injury at the Indian camp

The men will be represented by Customs and Central excise Kochi who will be placed in Group A along with Indian Airforce, Ludhiana Basketball Academy, ASC Bangalore
