Kochi 12th March 2017- 16th All Kerala Champions Trophy Inter Club Basketball Championship will be organized by Regional Sports Centre in Association with Ernakulum District Basketball Association Under the auspicious of Kerala Basketball Association will be Inaugurated on 14th March 2017 at 5.30 pm at Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Kadavathara Kochi by Shri. Mohammed Hanish, IAS Chairman & Managing Director, SUPPLYCO (former Secretary of Sports & Youth Affairs)

Top teams from Kerala including Customs and Central Excise Kochi, KSEB Thriuvanthapuram, Kerala Police Thiruvananthapuram, Sree Kerala Varma College Thrissur, Assumption College Changanacherry, Providence college Kozhikode, Four daySt Johns College Anchal will be Participating Four-dayChampionship which will be played on a round-robin league format

The Champion Club will represent Kerala at the 31st Federation Cup National Basketball for Men and Women to be held at P SG College of Technology Coimbatore from 22nd to 26th March 2017

In the Inaugural Match Assumption College Changanacherry will take on St John’s College Anchal

Ernakulam District has been allotted this Championship on a Short Notice since Kasargod District basketball Association who were the official Bidders of the Championship 2016-17 had withdrawn from the Championship
