February 2nd 2016: “The Reliance Foundation Jr. NBA program which has received an immense response in Kochi and Kottayam with spirited participation of more than 300 schools and 2lakh children and active support of schools and parents. its a great inspiration for young fervent players in India In 2013, the NBA joined hands with the Reliance Foundation to launch the Reliance Foundation Jr NBA programmes in various Indian cities. In the last three years, The best performers from the reliance foundation Jr NBA programme in Kerala over the past 11 weeks were invited to Rajagiri Campus Kalamasserry to the City Finals.

The eight Best Teams from Two Regions Kottayam and Kochi have Invited to the Grand Final of 3 on 3and 5x0n 5 Competitions.

In Boys 5on 5 Matches SH CMI Public School Thevara,Shanthaal Jyothi Muttam, Little Flower HSS Koratty and Assisi School Narakkal and from Kottayam St Ephrmes HSS Mannam, St Josephs HSs Pulicunnu, Girideepam Bethanny Kottayam and MTHS Kurainoor will vie for the top honours

In Girls Little Flower HSs Koratty, Shanthal Jyothi, St Josephs Pulicunnu, St Thoams Perun\manoor and from Kottayam Vimala Hridaya Kollam, GirideepamBethanny Kottayam, Christ School Tiruvalla, and Sh School Kottayam have qualiefied for the City Finals
The Competitions will also be there o 3on3 in both U16 andU13 category and Hot Spot Competitions

The City Finals will start at 9 AM and will finish at 4 PM

Kottayam Regional Title for St Ephrem and Vimala Hridaya

St Ephrmes Mannanam and Vimala Hridaya Kollam won the Regional Title with the score in Boys Division while in Girls Vimala Hridaya School Kollam defeated Girideepam School Kottaym to claim the Kottayam regional Title of the Reliance Foundation Jr NBA Regional matches were .25 teams in boys and 8 teams in Grls took part in this one day five on five competitions which was held at the Three Basketball Courts at the Girideepam Bethanny Kottayam

In Boys Final, St Ephrmes Mnannam beat Girideepam Bethanny 31-13

In Girls Vimalaya Hridaya beat Girideepam 23-6

Earlier In the Semi final in boys, St Ephrmes beat MTHS Kurianoor 22-16 while in an exciting match Girideepam got better of St Josephs HSS Pulicunnu 29-26 to reach the final

In Girls Semi final matches Vimala Hridaya beat Christ Central School 16-6 while Girideepam beat SG 10-5
