ANCHAL TO HOST STATE SUB JUNIOR BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Hon Minister d for Sports and Transport Shri Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan will Inaugurate the 42nd Kerala State Sub Junior Basketball Championships For Boys & Girls 2015 here at St Johns School Anchal on 15th May 2015 5.00 Pm.
This Five day Championship which will be organised by the Kollam District Basketball Association under the auspicious of Kerala basketball Association at the newly built Flood Lit Basketball ground of St Johns School Anchal .The teams are divided in to Four Groups and will be played on a league cum Knock out Basis 14 Districts in Boys and Girls will be participating in this Championship The state Team to participate in the National sub Junior Championship will be selected from this Championship. Kozhikode in boys section and Thiruvanthapuram in Girls Division at are the reigning Champions, Three teams each from Pool A and B and one each from Cand D will qualify for the Knock out stage

Group B – Ernakulum, Idukki, Malapuram, Pathanamthitta
Group C – Kottayam, Kollam, Palakkad
Group D – Alapuzha, Kasargod and Kannur
GROUPINGS GIRLS
Group A – Thiruvanthapuram, Kottayam, Kozhikode, Pathanamthitta
Group B – Ernakulum, Thrissur, Kannur, Wayanad
Group C – Kollam, Idukki, Palakkad
Group D – Kasargod, Malapuram , Alapuzha
