Hyderabad, 6th October 2016: Kerala Girls defeated Tamil Nadu 66-62 to Make the Finals against Chhattisgarh who defeated Maharashtra 51-45 here for the 43rdArise Steel Sub-Junior National Basketball Championship for boys and girls 2016 entered its fifth day today at Saroornagar Indoor Stadium.

Kerala girls won their Semi Final game of day 6 defeating Tamil Nadu after  bad start  trailing 18-24 in the first Quarter but second string lead by Gouri  in the Second quarter played a fast paced game to making  Kerala to a lead of 39-30  at the half way.

Kerala centre and captain Ann Mary Zachariah again put up a stellar performance with 21 points. And gouri V supported her Very Much w scoring 17 points
 
In the boys semifinals, defending champions BFI-Madhya Pradesh* and Rajasthan separated themselves in the second half against Haryana and Andhra Pradesh respectively, to set up their summit clash.
