Koratty – 13th Aug 2016 In Boys Ernakulam, Idukki and Thrissur from Pool A, Kottayam and Alappuzha from B and Pathanamthitta and Malappuram from C and D pools a have quailed to quarter-finals while Girls Thrissur and Kannur from Kozhikode, and Thiruvananthapuram from B Kottayam and Idukki from C and Alappuzha and Ernakulam completes the Girls Quarter line up of the 33rd edition of the Kerala Youth State Basketball Championship for Boys and Girls here at the Twin floodlit Indoor Basketball Courts of Little flower HSS Koratty on Saturday
In league matches today Pathanamthitta drubbed Wayanad to 37-7 to top Group C while in Group B favourites Kottayam a had an easy victory over Thiruvananthapuram 36-13 to register their second victory in the group, while Idukki and Alappuzha boys continued their winning streak as they beat Kannur 62-35 and Kozhikode 35-21 respectively.
In Girl, kottayam beat Idukki 48-31 while Alappuzha beat Malappuram 40-8 and Ernakulam beat Palakkad 20-2 to registered their second straight Victory from Group D
