Koratty – 14th Aug 2016 Alappuzha, Thrissur, Kottayam, Ernakulam in Girls while in boys Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam entered the Semifinals of the 33rd edition of the Kerala Youth State Basketball Championship for Boys and Girls here at the Twin floodlit Indoor Basketball Courts of Little flower HSS Koratty on Sunday
In Girls Quarterfinal matches Alappuzha Girls scrape past Thiruvananthapuram 69-66, to meet Thrissur who defeated Idukki 73-58 and Kottayam made an easy work against Kannur defeated them with the score 30-20 to meet Kozhikode who defeated Ernakulam with the Score 64-40
In Boys, Quarterfinal matches Alappuzha boys defeated host Thrissur 73-58 to make the Semifinal against the winners of Idukki and Pathanamthitta while Ernakulam boys had an easy victory over Thiruvananthapuram 64-40 to meet Kottayam who defeated Malapuram60-25
