INDIAN U18 MEN

New Delhi, 31st May, 2016:  Lead by  P Baladhaneshwar  from Tamil Nadu and Coached by J P Singh the Indian U18 men’s basketball team Leaves to Dhakha  for  Participating  in the South Asian Basketball Association (SABA) Championship 2016. This two day Championship which will be Starting on 1st June will serve as the qualifier to FIBA Asia Championship apart from India Nepal, Sri Lanka and hosts Bangladesh are Participating. India are the defending champions, having won the last SABA Championship in 2014, and are expected to put up a strong showing this time around too. India is scheduled to play the first of its three round robin matches on 1st June, against the hosts.

The Team which had its training  in Puducherry left to Bangladesh after some practice  matches at Chennai against Sathyabama University, Chennai and the Indian Overseas Bank.
