Customs and Central Excise Men into the finals
Aluva – Customs and Central excise moved on to the finals of the 18th Edition of the Champions Trophy Inter club Basketball Championship for Men and Women, here at the Flood Lit Carmel Club Indoor Stadium in Aluva. The final matches will play on Sunday
In an exciting 1st semi final in men after an evenly poised first half the seasoned players from customs accelerated the scoring in the 3rd and final quarters to beat Kerala Police 72-59 with international Basil Philip top scoring with 18 points and Jomon was the top scorer with 21 points for Police
In another quarter final match in women Assumption College Changancherry got better of SES College Sreekantapuram 70-56 and entered the Semi finals
In last men quarter final match KSEB had no difficulty in beating Beatrice club Kannur with the score 46-32
On Friday late night Kerala Police Men defeated Carmel Club Aluva 58-44 and Sree kerala varma college defeated in Men division while Alapuzha Basketballers 38-25
In the second Semi final in men to be played tomorrow Sree Kerala Varma College Thrissur will take on KSEB Thiruvanthapuram
In women semi finals Kerala Police will meet St Josephs College Irinjalakuda and KSEB will meet Assumption College Changanacherry
