Cuttack September 4th 2019 :-  Kerala had a Mixed fortune as their Girls defeated  Haryana 43-17 with Tiyona Ann Philip top scoring for Kerala with 11 points here for the , 46th Sub Junior National Basketball Championship,  begins at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium & Indoor Complex  Barabati Stadium. The Championship hosted by the Odisha  Basketball Association under the aegis of Basketball Federation of India. The Kerala boys went down to 35-50 after leading 24-17 at the half time.

The day began with the Haryana boys defeating Chhattisgarh 73-58.

Tamil Nadu boys utilized  their advantage on height as they  beat a crafty Karnataka with the score 77- 43.

In the other boys’ games,Chhandigarh bt Odhissa(70-56) but lost to Haryana (48-73) (32-28),Tamil Nadu bt Karnataka(77-43), Madhya Pradesh beat Jharkhand( 74-15) , West Bengal Beat Himachal Pradesh(53-20), Manipur bt Telengana(56-41), Gujarat bt Utharkhnd (51-14).

In the girls’ matches, Maharashtra beat Punajab (56-30),Madhya Pradesh beat Odhisa (32-23),Tamil Nadu beat Uttar Pradesh(50-31),Jharkhand beat Manipur (27-13).Delhi got better of Rajasthan (58-36), Telengana bt Chandigarh(56-41).
