Madhya Pradesh and Uttarkhand Crowned with Bronze
Indian Railways Women beat Kerala 68-55 to repeat as champs, Punjab retained the Crown beating Tamil Nadu 93-75

Ludhiana dec28th 2019 : Indian Railways women and Punjab Men have been crowned champions of the 70th Senior National Basketball Championship for Men and Women here at Guru Nanank Dev Stadium in Ludiana Punjab

The Championship was organized by the Punjab Basketball Association under the aegis of Basketball Federation of India.

Indian Railways beat Kerala 68-55
The two undefeated teams from the league phase finally faced off in the summit clash earlier this afternoon.

Indian Railways women started off well taking on the early lead Indian Railways as they ended the first quarter with17-12 lead with Navneetha dominating the ring and ended up the 1st half with 33-25 . Kerala only dominated the 2rd quarter and was able to reduce the lead 43-47 .This was kerala s 10th entry in to the Finals of it only won twice 1984 at Cuttack trained by KV alexander lead by Raji Thampy and on 2017 at Puducherry trained by Antony stephan lead by athira M S , Kerala even came a 49-51 at the start of 4th Quarter but could not keep themomentem Railaway had multiple players with double figures ,Sruthy Aravind played the captains role and led the Scoring for Railways with16 points and Shireen Limaye with15 ,Navneetha scoring 13 and Poonam Chathurvedi with 12 for Kerala Jeena PS made 23 and Stephy Nixon making 13

Punjab beat Tamil Nadu 93-75
Punjab anchored by Professionals Amritpal Amjoth defeated Tamil Nadu 93-75 after an evenly fought first half of 37-36 Harsh preet Sing Buller lead the scoring with 33 points followed by Center Amritpal Sing with 24 points and 14 rebounds and Amjot amking 15 and for Tamil Nadu Moin Bek come up with 23 points and Jeevanathm with 20

Bronze for Utharkhand men and Madhya Pradesh Women
Nimma Doma Bhutia made all differenc for Madhya Pradesh as they scrape past Punjab with the score 73-69 to secure women bronze while Vishesh Brighuvnshi made it possible the Bronze for Utharkhand as they beat Indian Railway 75- 74
