Twin Final for Rajasthan

 Chandigarh boys made their Maiden Finals 

Indore ;-Rajasthan Boys and  Girls entered the finals as they defeated Karnataka 73-69 and  Chhattisgarh 73-59 and will meet Chandigarh Boys who defeated  Uttar Pradesh 88-85 to make their maiden entry in to the Finals   the girls will meet Punjab who beat defending champions Kerala 80-59  here for the   71st Junior National Basketball Championship, at the Basketball Complex Race course Road Indore , the Championship  hosted by the Madhya Pradesh  Basketball Association under r the aegis of  Basketball federation of India

The first Semi Final in girls of the day where the lead changes 9 times and was tied up 5 occasions Rajasthan took an slender lead of one point at the interval (30-29) dominated the third quarter with an six points lead before winning it at 73-59 Rashi Kotani was the leading scorer with 27 points and  with 18 rebounds was well supported by Ankita who scored 19   for Chhattisgarh Riya who controlled her team again came as the leading scorer with 18 points

Second Semi final in girls Punjab after leading 38-25 at the Interval came on to beat the defending Champion Kerala 80-59 with Manmeet Kaur and Kanishka Dhir dominated the paint as they scored 24 and 22  for the Victory for Kerala Sree Lakshmi was the leading scorer with 18 points  

The 1st Semi Final in men where Chandigarh which was making their maiden entry in to the final trailed 60-72 at the end of 3rd Quarter came back and dominated the Final quarter to beat Uttar Pradesh 88-81Rohan Roy with 25 points and captain Amarendra Singh with 22 points did the bulk of the soring for Chandigarh Victory  Kushal Singh was the leading scorer for Uttar Pradesh with 33 points

The last Semi Final of the day the favourites Rajasthan has to fight till the end to make an victory over a fighting Karnataka boys Rajasthan who had a good start of 23-15 in the first quarter ended the second half evenly  with the same lead 38-32 Karanataka came back in the third quarter and took the lead  51-48 the final quarter saw some exciting lead changes but the end came in favour of Rajasthan  Lokendra singh came as the top scorer for Rajasthan with 24 points and Achin Krishna  j for Karnataka with 20 points
