 Pranav prince of Kerala who hails from Trivandrum will represent India The FIBA World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers (Window-3) scheduled to be held in Manila, Philippines on 3rd July 2022. The Indian Sr. Men Basketball Team is placed in Group D along with New Zealand, Philippines & Korea and have qualified for the Round 2 of the FIBA World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers

The Indian team is trained by Veline Matic from Serbia who is the head coach and  Thankachan M C who hails from Chandanakampara in Kerala is the Coach accompanying the team

Vishesh Bhriguvanshi from  ONGC  will lead the team
