SREEKALA, ANEESHA TO REPRESENT INDIA IN FIBA 3X 3 ASIA CUP

Sreekala R and Aneesha Cleetus from Kerala State Electricity Board will represent India in the fifth edition of the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup that will take place in Singapore on July 6-10, 2022.
India is placed in Group D with Palestine Territory and New Zealand
The fifth edition of the event marks the return of the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. This year’s Asia Cup winners will qualify for the FIBA 3x3 World Cup in 2023.
The last edition of the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup took place in Changsha, China on May 22-26, 2019. Australia is the reigning champion with both the men and the women. Participation in the event has steadily grown from 26 teams from 16 countries playing in the first edition held in 2013 in Qatar, to 40 teams from 23 countries competing in the last edition in China
