Punjab , Tamil Nadu,Uthrakhand advances

Indian railways Unbeaten in women

Defending champion Tamil Nadu started their campaign in Group A as they beat host Gujarat 85- 44 while Punjab registered their second Victory in Group A with their over Rajasthan In women section defending champion Indian railways made short wamriork against west Bengal with the score 109-63 to register their 2nd Straight victory in the Group here on the second day of the 69th National Basketball Championship for Men and Women -in Bhavnagar, Gujarat

In the Tamil Nadu Gujarth match Tamil Nadu made use of the full bench after leading 47-22 at the half time to win the match with 85-44 score while the Punjab rajasthan encounter saw Rjasthan leading 43-42 at the end of the first half and Kept their lead till the mid of the 3rd quarter as rajsthan lead 57-56 before giving up thematch to Punjab with score 101-80 Amrithpal lead scoring tally for Punajb with 31 points and arshpreet making 17 for rajsthan Sarad top scored with 25 points followed by Abbas ali with 20 and Kamran Kahn with 19

In Group B men division Utharkhand continued their winning streak as they beat Indian Railways 82-77 after leading 35-26 at half time Yadwinder lead the scoring for utharkhand with 34points yesterday they won against Kerala 66-46

In another exciting women match Telenganna scrape past Maharashtra 60-59 . Maharashtra at the half time trailed 24-34 at the half time came back strongly through sherin Limaye in the third quarter to reduce its lead to 41-45 before losing it at 59-60
