Thiruvananthapuram Teams into the final

Thiruvananthapuram women will take on Palakkad while men will face Erankulum in the final of the 62nd Edition of Kerala State Senior Basketball Championship for Men and women at St Mary’s School Flood lit Basketball Ground,mullankolly organized by Wayanad District Basketball Association under the aegis of Kerala Basketball Association.

In women session defending champion Thiruvananthapuram beat Kozhikode 50-29 after leading 24 -12 at the Interval Jeena came up with the top scorer with 14 points followed by Rojamol with 13 points and now will meer Palakkad anchored by International Neenumol PS who top scored with 26 points and helped by senior Anjana from KSEB defeated Kottayam with the score 65-43

In Men first Semifinal Ernakulum after a slow start and trailed 8-17 came back strongly through experienced Subash J Shenoy and ended up the first half leading 32-28 defeated Kozhikode 89-56 to meet Thiruvananthapuram who beat Kottayam 61-49.
