ERNAKULAM DISTRICT BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION
Right from inception, Ernakulam District Association has been a beehive of activities, conducting championships, and training and polishing international and national players of great repute.
We gratefully acknowledge the services of M/s MP Kurian, John Philipose, Viswanathan, and Prince Chandy as presidents, and that of M/s Jacob Varkey, M K Abraham, Cherian Thomas, AT Joseph, VT Xavier, John Casmir and Thomas Mathew as secretaries. Mr. Cherian Thomas was KBA secretary for a couple of years while Mr M. P. Kurian held offices as president and patron of KBA for a number of years.
Ernakulam has churned out international and national players like Molly Augustine, Renny M Vincent, Emily K Mathew, Rigi A Sunny, Sheelamma, Joshyamma, and Jayakumari on the women side, and Subash Shenoy, Vivek V and Sunny Thomas on the men side.
We cherish with deep gratitude the contributions of M/s Andrews, MP Kurian, PVS Namboothripad, MK Abraham, Jacob Varkey, Cherian Thomas and others.
