Milan Jose Mathew, Arthika to lead Kerala junior basketball teams

THRISSUR: Millan Jose Mathew (St Ephrems HSS, Mannanam) and Arthika K (Providence HSS, Kozhikode) will captain the Kerala boys' and girls' teams respectively at the 76th Junior National Basketball Championship. The tournament will be held at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Puducherry from May 22 to 29, 2026, under the aegis of the Basketball Federation of India (BFI). Both squads will depart on May 20. The boys' team completed a 21-day intensive preparatory camp at St. Teresa's School, Eravu in Thrissur district, while the girls' team trained at St. Joseph's College, Irinjalakuda.
